- Pot'n'Kettle
- This is Carl's main endeavour with super duper partner Penny Larkins. In part they are a folk duo, in part workshop facilitators in a great number of capacities. They also travel through many other lands of performance and creative aptitude: theatre, private function (tailored), a version of cabaret, kids stuff (perf and workshop), private vocal tuition, creative consultancy for choirs, a capella groups and working teams/corporate. Their specialty is telling the truth of the story, song or performance and providing a space for honesty to self in process. It's kind of wonderful.
- Checkerboard
- This is Carl's longtime-standing and ever-changing band of improvisers in the blues/roots idiom. Basically He gets to play drums and yell a lot in the great company of master-musicians, creating each moment as it comes, often so in sync that it seems rehearsed. They have tried but it seems they cannot rehearse. Logically it follows that perhaps adhering to the relative limits of the finite mind and structure would eclipse the otherwise inexplicable nature of the music just being found and that they're available to ride each wave together as the ocean swells so. In any case, it's just a lot of fun :) A great live experience. Band features Shannon Bourne, Amos Sheehan, Garrett Costigan and many other guests including Ricard Tankard, Steve Heskith, Dave Sheehan and the list goes on..
- Carl Pannuzzo's myspace
- More stuff on Carl set out in the myspace way. Features some different music and info.
- Totally Gourdgeous
- A coming together of four very distinctly different and serious songwriters who play the fool amidst a brilliant and seemingly effortless musicality of often danceable and silly fun. Dressed up รก la pumpkin, their most notable point of difference is that all of the instruments played by them are made from gourds by band-leader Penelope Swales. Also featuring Mal Webb and Andrew Clermont, they have consistently maintained a 'festival favorite' status in music festivals Australia-wide and in Europe
- The Mighty Buzzniks
- Carl is an occasional member of great alternative-styled kids rock band - yes, a whole band, and a very good one. While playing as much the clown nature for kids, the sophisticated songwriting of band leader Jamie Saxe addresses real issues and points of imagination relevant to kids, reflective for adults and musically fantastic for all, crossing many styles and acoustically present sonics for the soul of little people, not just electronics and playback behind people dressed up as TV stars. They bring a great service to the 'whole' of their audiences. Band also features Razz Mussen, Phil McLeod, Tao Kahn, Drew Caldwell and occasional guests.
- Zoe Frater Quintet
- Carl and partner Penny sing/vocalise for this brilliant new composer/bassist's original work heard often in jazz venues, though crosses much of the open world of music. Zoe explores harmony and rhythm with great curiosity for adventure while maintaining a rich aesthetic and almost pop sensibility. Band also features Shannon Barnett, Julien Wilson, Ronny Ferella, Ben Hauptmann with occasional guests such as Stephen Magnusson or Geoff Hughes.
- JoJo Smith
- Carl and partner Penny delight in occasionally singing backups with this unsung legend of Australian live music. JoJo gives well in excess of her 100% every time she performs - and not so much as a performer, but as an energy, spirit and sound; she fills the deepest groove with her incredible soulfullness and infectious joy and love of music. Playing with a crackerjack band featuring David Jones, Greg Lyon, Steve Russell, Tony Buchanan, Steve Grieve and a host of other top Oz musos as guests, JoJo affords nothing less than the best in live musical experience.
- Punctum live arts
- Great live arts incubator and body of artists from all fields of the creative and performing arts, sponsors and assists projects that further developments and concepts in process of and approach to artforms. Led by multi-hatted founder, Jude Anderson, direcor, dramaturg, dancer and coordinator, often sees great new work from the team of individuals involved.
- Acapelicans
- NOT the North American a capella group from Siena Heights Univeristy, although their youtube video of the song Africa does look rather like the same stairwell the now defunct Australian vocal trio Acapelicans once performed after a workshop they gave in a Washington DC University.
Anyhow, while no longer performing, their 10 year career was a much loved one that inspired enough folk to deserve an internet presence yet. Band also featured Sarah Liversidge and Simon Nugent.
